Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer who will play a critical role in the manufacturing engineering phase. This individual will be responsible for delivering technical expertise and creating production documentation, as well as overseeing the industrial validation process. The role includes reviewing complex 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturability and ensuring the application of lean principles to improve production performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical deliverables during the manufacturing engineering phase.
- Create and review production documentation and industrial validation processes.
- Evaluate complex 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturability.
- Implement lean principles to enhance site production performance.
- Engage in troubleshooting, MRB, testing, NCR, and root cause analysis.
- Improve manufacturing processes using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing processes, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in MRB, testing, NCR, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience in assembly work of electro-mechanical components, preferably in the aerospace sector, but open to automotive.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Background in aerospace preferred, but open to automotive, industrial, or any manufacturing industry.
- Self-motivated individuals who can independently contribute to manufacturing flow processes and RCCA's.
- Familiarity with 5S and the ability to create process flow diagrams.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Carson, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
