- Continuous Improvement Focus : Modern tools, dashboards, and smarter systemsYour Part in the Flight Plan : * Drive quality planning and execution within an AS9100 aerospace manufacturing
- Lead root cause and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) on sustainable solutions
- Support MRB activities, disposition of nonconformances and rework / repair collaboration
- Analyze scrap, rework, and defect trends; develop dashboards and corrective actions
- Support First Article readiness and ongoing production quality (process control, inspections, documentation)
- Develop and improve procedures, control plans, and work instructions
- Support audits (internal, customer, registrar) and ensure ongoing compliance
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on corrective actions and quality improvements
Pre-Flight Checklist : * 5+ years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems (AS9102 a plus)
- Proven experience leading corrective actions and improving process capability
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
- Strong communication skills across shop floor, engineering, and leadership
- Comfortable using Excel and systems tools for tracking and reportingPreferred :
- Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and metrology
- Supplier quality experience (SCARs, audits, incoming inspections)
- Experience implementing dashboards, digital tools, or paperless systems
