Job description
A company is looking for a Coding Educator-Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
Provide formal and informal coding and regulatory education / training to providers and professional coders
Review and audit professional charges, medical records, and claims for accuracy and compliance with guidelines
Compile and present reports of audit results, identifying areas for improvement and providing education
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Two certifications (CPC, CRC, CPMA, CPCO, or RHIT) required upon hire
Three years of experience in CPT EM leveling, ICD-10 diagnosis coding, and medical claims auditing required
Experience with data analysis and report preparation required
