Job description
We are seeking a Lead Accounting Analyst to join a Renewable Energy company in Charlotte. This role involves managing accounting and analysis for assigned projects and processes, including internal controls. Responsibilities include monthly close support, account reconciliations, cash analysis, and interaction with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, accuracy, and process improvement skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead monthly general ledger closing for assigned projects.
Review cash analysis and account reconciliations.
Analyze financial information and summarize for management.
Support site operating personnel, corporate personnel, and external auditors.
Assist in annual budget preparation.
Lead complex projects and support management objectives.
Develop new accounting systems, controls, and processes.
Complete ad hoc requests and special projects.

Certified Public Accountant.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of U. S. GAAP.
Public accounting experience.
Experience with financial applications and Microsoft products.
Ability to lead and work in a team environment.
Bachelors degree in accounting / finance or related discipline.
8+ years of accounting or related experience
Experience with monthly general ledger closing
