Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Entry Level Architectural Designer .

This position is located in the Cleveland, Ohio office, which is a dynamic studio focusing on a large variety of project types, including higher education, cities, corporate commercial, logistical and federal projects. We are seeking a Designer with good technical, conceptual, visual, and communication skills to work in a highly collaborative and design-oriented studio.

Job Summary / Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

Participate in high-energy, collaborative team and project environments

Provide design and documentation support on projects of various sizes, type and complexity

Produce rapid visualization of design concepts and assist with building presentations to clients

Developing iterative solutions for a variety of design working under supervision by senior design staff

Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations

Coordinates design activities with other engineering disciplines

Participate in design through all phases, from concept to construction administration.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

BA / BS in Architecture + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education

Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's in architecture

Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills

Working knowledge of 3D modeling; Revit, Sketchup, and / or Rhino desired

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Desire to actively work toward architectural licensure

LEED Accreditation

Strong interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Relocation is not available for this position.

Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available for this position now or in the future.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $52,000.00 - $55,000.00.
