Description : Now Hiring : Dynamic Trainer for Direct Care Staff
Are you passionate about teaching others and making a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs? Do you love seeing “aha!” moments and helping people grow in their roles? We’re looking for a Trainer who is equal parts educator, motivator, and champion of best practices to help our new team members thrive!
What You’ll Do :
- Facilitate engaging, interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually
- Deliver all required state-certified courses (we’ll make sure you're trained too!)
- Track and maintain compliance records and training logs
- Collaborate with department heads to identify additional training needs
- Develop and refresh materials to keep training current and exciting
- Follow up with new staff during their first few weeks to ensure smooth transitions
- We’re Looking for Someone Who :
- Has a knack for public speaking and making learning FUN
- Is familiar with or willing to become certified in state-mandated courses (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
- Understands the world of direct support professionals or healthcare settings
- Is organized, proactive, and loves helping others succeed
- Has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
