Food Program-Delivery Coordinator
Position is responsible for everyday operational tasks of summer food and / or at risk after school meals under the supervision and direction of the Manager of Food Programs. Established policies and procedures control actions. Independent judgment is utilized when there are no available policies and procedures and errors in judgment may cause serious risk and significant liability. Incumbent will be required to exercise good judgment in the areas of Indy Parks Summer Lunch and At Risk After School Meal programs. This position will work under the supervision of the Manager of Food Programs. Position reports to Manager Food Programs.

Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Audit summer lunch and at risk after school sites and staff members for compliance
- Training and supervision of Program Assistants in monitoring of program sites
- Weekly reconciliation of vendor invoices
- Collects and reconciles daily meal count and attendance records for 40+ locations
- Completing and adjusting daily food orders
- Entering and maintaining site information and meal counts in DOE and Indy Parks databases
- Ordering and purchasing of supplies, materials, and equipment for the implementation of the program
- Maintain all site records, documents and files required for state and federal compliance
- Tracking and reconciling weekly invoices from food service vendor
- Rectify site reviews and other findings from Health Department and DOE inspector's report within 48 hours
- Complete annual Administrative Review with DOE Field Consultant
- Coordinate the completion and document of quarterly site reviews at each at-risk after school meals location
- Identify and respond to site problems, outline findings and document corrective action taken
- Assist in recruiting and retaining summer food and at risk after school meals sites
- Make daily deliveries and / or pick up meals
- Provide on-site training and remediation to site supervisors serving summer food and at risk after school meals
- Communicate regularly with food sites
- Interacts with community committees and other assigned committees / meetings as requested by supervisor
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times

Working Conditions
Essential functions are regularly performed in an office setting without exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Incumbent will be expected to travel to various locations daily for work-related activities or training. Office time will be required for data entry and required paperwork.
