HORNE, a national professional services firm, is seeking a skilled OnBase Developer to join our Intelligence and Automation group. In this fully remote role, you will be part of a collaborative team delivering internal and client-facing applications that support high-impact programs across the country. You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting case management solutions using OnBase WorkView and integrations with external systems .

We’re looking for someone who combines deep OnBase expertise with strong development and problem-solving skills. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with WorkView configuration, workflow automation, and integrations using languages such as C#, Java, Python, or .

Work Hours & Collaboration

We work with clients across multiple time zones and value team members who can support later-day collaboration windows.

  • Eastern / Central Time Zones : Standard business hours are acceptable, but preference will be given to candidates open to slightly later shifts (, 10 : 00 AM–6 : 00 PM or 1 : 00 PM–10 : 00 PM ET).
  • Mountain / Pacific / Hawaii Time Zones : A standard 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM local schedule overlaps well with our project needs.

We share this in advance to ensure alignment and set clear expectations around team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain case management systems using OnBase WorkView.
  • Develop custom integrations and automation solutions using C# or similar languages (Java, Python,
  • Configure OnBase components, including document types, keywords, queries, reports, forms, and import processes.
  • Write and optimize SQL Server queries to support reporting and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and perform OnBase upgrades and maintenance.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment, iterating on requirements and solutions.
  • Create documentation and provide user training and technical support.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience developing OnBase solutions, with strong focus on WorkView and Workflow .
  • Prior experience in a senior development or lead role , with ownership of solution design.
  • Proficiency in one or more development languages (C#, Java, Python,
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more OnBase Certifications :
  • OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA) or Installer (OCI)
  • OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA) or Engineer (OCWE)
  • OnBase WorkView or API Certification
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server and writing optimized queries.
  • Experience delivering enterprise case management solutions.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs .
  • Experience with OnBase system upgrades in production environments.
  • Background working on Agile development teams with frequent iteration and client engagement.
