Key Responsibilities Assign diagnostic and procedural codes to patient charts using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, or other coding classification systems Review charts and abstract required clinical information to ensure high-quality coding standards Maintain coding productivity rates and quality standards as per industry requirements Required Qualifications RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification through AHIMA required Minimum of 3 years of recent inpatient coding experience in a facility setting Experience with ICD-10 coding and completion of an ICD-10 course Proficient in using technology, including coding software and MS Office Ability to work flexible hours between 6a-6 : 30p Pacific time, Monday to Friday
