A company is looking for an Inpatient Senior Coder to perform accurate code assignments and assist other coders while working remotely.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate code assignments for inpatient casesAssist coders with coding questions and conduct SMART reviewsMeet client productivity targets while maintaining a coding quality of 95% or greaterRequired QualificationsAHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC) certificationA minimum of three years' recent inpatient coding experience in an acute care settingExperience mentoring coders and performing SMART auditsExperience in coding ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS diagnosis and procedure codesTechnical competency with remote-based connectivity and office software
