Trillium Staffing is seeking a skilled Manufacturing CNC Programmer for a direct hire opportunity in Peoria IL!
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes and engineering principles, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance production capabilities, ensure quality standards, and implement innovative solutions within our manufacturing facility. Pay rate is $30-40 / hr.
Position Overview :
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo for designing and modifying schematics and tooling.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and robotics for automated systems.
- Oversee plastics injection molding processes, ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with the assembly line team to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and CAM programming.
- Provide mechanical knowledge for the fabrication of components and tooling used in production.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout the manufacturing process.
