Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline , IL , you will :

be responsible for delivering a modern quoting application used for sourcing decisions. The solution will be used both internally by John Deere personnel, and externally by suppliers around the world.

Develop and implement technical solutions to deliver on User Stories

Assist in resolution of IT technical issues in the product team

Establish and implement CI / CD pipelines Develop automated test scripts

Work on a product team and support product design by planning its work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver moderately complex functionality.

What Skills You Need

2 or more years of modern web development experience using React, Node and Service Oriented Architecture

2 or more years of varied DB experience (e.g. DB2, Postgres, NoSQL)

1 or more years of experience with DevOps principles and lean development such as Continuous Integration (GitHub) and Continuous Delivery (GitHub Actions)

What Makes You Standout

Experience with financial applications and business processes

Experience with cloud operational environments, preferably AWS

Understanding of Supply Management processes

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
