Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)

Contract: 1 year

Rate Range: $42/hour-$45/hour The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, location, and other factors.

We are looking for a hands on experienced User Interface/experience (UI/UX) Developer/Programmer who can drive and advance our next generation modern digital workplace technology digital initiatives. This person will be the lead resource for communicating and working with business & technology end users to create and support holistic solutions for some high visibility on-going projects. As a UI/UX Developer youll be responsible creating ADA compliant Mobile/Web experiences working with fullstack application development teams and Adobe DXP/AEM/Analytics stack would be a plus. The developer needs to have a keen understanding of ADA/Accessibility compliance standards and platforms (Eg SiteImprove) (ADA/WCAG etc) and mitigation best practices to meet application/code compliance on modern web technology stacks especially front-end programming.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs standards

• Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & development, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects

• Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards & compliance

• Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates

• Collaborate with analysts, developers and architects for successful implementation and component

Requirements

• Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research on new tools and methods as needed

• Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups

• Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews

• Hands on development on front end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, Jquery etc)

• Provide responsive websites apps development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates
