Ability to read, write, and understand English, including following verbal and written instructions. One year of inventory experience preferred. Aircraft maintenance hangar, and Avionics Shop. Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, electrical charges and radar waves, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working around moving machinery. May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate. Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management. Employees are responsible for performing their duties in accordance with company policies and government regulations. These rules are written in the interest of preserving the lives and the resources entrusted to each employee, and when the rules are violated, the risk of a mishap is usually increased. Employees shall participate in safety education programs and train to recognize hazards on the job and how to report them promptly. Built on a foundation of Respect, Safety, Quality, and Results , we are seeking a skilled and motivated Material Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and issuing stock inventory, coordinating with maintenance teams to forecast material needs, ensuring accurate records through data entry, and maintaining accountability for tools and consumables. You’ll also support inventory reduction initiatives and help keep our operations running smoothly.
As a 24 / 7 operation, we have openings across all shifts—including standard day shifts, 2nd shift, weekend shifts, and 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be flexible and willing to be assigned to any shift based on operational needs.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Issues and controls stock inventory and evaluate stock for surplus.
- Coordinates with Maintenance Department to forecast material requirements.
- Checks stock availability on all maintenance material requests.
- Orders stock and restocks shelves.
- Monitors shelf life of applicable stock.
- Maintains, monitors and restocks bench stock.
- Stocks and issues consumables.
- Maintains, issues, and repairs small tools.
- Processes turn-ins from Maintenance Department.
- Performs data entry of issues and turn-ins.
- Maintains accountability on permanently issued tools.
- Conducts periodic and annual inventories.
- Serves as a member of the inventory reduction team.
- Answer phones, order tools, and maintain first aid and safety supplies
- Conduct safety program, assist with hazardous materials, and ensure safe work practices
- Document training and keep compliance records up to date

Requires sitting, standing or walking for extended periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
