Billing Specialist - Accounting
JOB SUMMARY
Billing specialist is responsible for supporting our operating segments in the preparation and submission of invoices to our clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Successful billing specialists have excellent organizational skills and an eye for analysis to reconcile weekly reports to client invoices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Prepare client invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely generation of invoices and billing statements.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional manner.
- Utilize client required invoice interfaces.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve billing issues.
- Prepare and maintain reports for billing status and client cost as required.
- Professional communications and responses to client inquiries
- Must possess ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV / Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
