Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Photography, Videography, Multimedia Production or related field. Demonstrated expertise with six years of experience as a photographer, videographer, and editor, underscored by a robust portfolio highlighting adept storytelling skills. Content Creation skills suitable for journalistic and marketing communications purposes. Ability to fix video in post as well as creating motion graphics with software such as After Effects. Skills in utilizing industry-standard photography and video editing software, notably Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom). Skills with and experience in technical aspects of photography and videography, encompassing composition, lighting, color grading, audio recording, and motion graphics. Proven ability to effectively juggle multiple projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills enabling collaborative work with various stakeholders, including university partners, creative professionals, and leadership personnel. Ability to provide attention to detail in visual composition and design, coupled with a discerning eye for capturing impactful moments that resonate with audiences.
Senior Multimedia Producer
Description
The Senior Multimedia Producer will play a pivotal role in advancing the visibility and reputation of UHCL through compelling visual storytelling. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy, this individual serves as a key storyteller, utilizing their expertise in photography and videography to capture the essence of UHCL and bolster its brand identity.
Duties :
- Produces, films, and edits video content for various purposes within the school community, while also contributing to storyboarding, scripting, logistical coordination, and interviewing.
- Produces still photography in university spaces and at school events for diverse marketing and communication applications, spanning print and digital assets.
- Creates or sources multimedia elements such as audio and motion graphics to enhance video assets.
- Manages and schedules annual faculty and staff portraits.
- Assists in selecting photos for print and digital collateral materials to support enrollment, advancement, and other marketing objectives.
- Manages the storing, categorizing and distribution of all photo, video, and audio libraries.
- Coordinates with external video and photo production companies and freelancers for specialized projects, managing footage selection, talent coordination, scriptwriting and review processes accordingly.
- Maintains camera and video equipment and accessories, staying updated on the latest editing software technology through professional development opportunities.
- Maintains an organized annual calendar of multimedia projects and performs related duties as assigned.

Desired :
Master's degree in Multimedia Production.
Eight years of experience in the development of multimedia productions, demonstrating an advanced level of expertise in visual storytelling and some supervisory experience.
Experience working within a higher education institution or similar environment, providing valuable insight into the unique needs and challenges of educational marketing and communications.
Familiarity with operating drones and possession of appropriate licenses for capturing dynamic aerial footage.
