The Staff Pharmacist position at the Purdue Patterson McCallum Mareta Charitable Pharmacy is a licensed pharmacist responsible for managing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining inventory. This role will likely evolve to include the implementation and provision of clinical pharmacy services.

This position may be structured as a part-time role based solely at Purdue Universty or as a full-time role in with responsibilities are divided equally, with 50% effort at the Patterson-McCallum-Mareta Charitable Pharmacy (PMMCP) and 50% at either Walgreens or a central Indiana hospital system, depending on the candidate's preference of partner employer.

What We Are Looking For :

Education and Experience

Qualified candidates will need :

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
• Previous experience in a community pharmacy preferred
• Completion of PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residency or an equivalent experience in pharmacy practice preferred
• Licensed in the state of Indiana; participation in continuing education activities to meet licensure requirements
• Completion of APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate program
• Obtain and maintain AHA Basic Life Support certification
• Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws pertaining to all aspects of pharmacy practice including hazardous materials and drugs, and accepts legal responsibility for pharmacy operations and technician activities performed under their supervision
