Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Analyst / Developer to manage, maintain, and secure our organization’s database systems across both cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database performance tuning, system integrity, user access management, backup strategies, and compliance with data security standards, particularly for sensitive or regulated industries such as healthcare or finance.

Key Responsibilities

Database Management

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize database performance to ensure speed, reliability, and data integrity.
• Install, configure, and upgrade database software and supporting tools.
• Implement robust backup and recovery procedures to minimize data loss and system downtime.
• Perform regular database maintenance, including indexing, statistics updates, and storage optimization.
• Lead root cause analysis of production issues and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve them efficiently.
