We’re seeking a reliable and safety-focused Hazardous Materials Technician to work at a premier facility in Henderson, CO. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Salary- $25.00./hour
Shift- Monday- Friday- 8:00am- 5:00pm


What’s a typical day as a Hazardous Materials Technician? You’ll be:
• Loading and unloading drums, totes, containers, trailers, and tankers while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials safely and efficiently.
• Performing labeling, stacking, packing, and repacking of containers to maintain compliance and organization.
• Assisting in decontamination and cleanup of work areas to uphold safety standards.
• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (if trained) to facilitate material movement.
• Supporting chemical transfer and pumping operations when required, ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote a safe working environment.
• Following DOT, EPA, and RCRA safety and compliance standards diligently.
• Completing required documentation and paperwork accurately to support operational efficiency.
• Assisting in spill response and emergency cleanup activities as needed to ensure safety.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Bring 3–6 months of experience in hazardous waste, environmental services, or industrial cleanup (preferred).
• Have forklift experience (strongly preferred) and the ability to perform physical labor in industrial environments.
• Possess basic computer and communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork.
