Process Specialist\n\nLocation - Aldermaston\n\nPackage - £27,930 - £41,890 dependant on skills and experience plus allowances following completion of training.\n\nWorking Hours : Monday - Thursday (Apply online only)\n\nLet us introduce the role\n\nAWE is currently recruiting for a Process Specialist to join our busy teams, working to help meet our businesses mission statement.\n\nThe key accountabilities this role will be tasked with are : \n\nDeliver adequate supervision of the assigned team to operations.\nLead and task manage operations staff to carry out processes; and verifies that everything occurs in conformity with the plan, standards and instructions.\nMaintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player. \n\nEveryone who works at AWE brings unique skills and perspectives to the table. Even if you don't meet every point below, but you feel that this role and AWE are a great fit for you, please go ahead and apply, we'd love to receive your application. \n\nWhilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following : \n\nProcess management\nAbility to communicate written and verbally to different audiences\nAbility to work within a team\nIT skills in Microsoft Word and Excel \n\nOn top of the accountabilities, there are a number of key responsibilities that this job will entail : \n\nResponsible for ensuring that the standards of people competence for the safe operation of tasks within the area are met.\nEnsure staff compliance with training standards as required by Licence Condition 10 (Training).\nManage workloads appropriately to meet and deliver programme requirements.\nPlan work schedules.\nProvide visible management, leadership and motivation to help achieve high levels of performance and enthusiasm to deliver.\nContribute to the delivery of local Accountability Boards (Visual Management Boards).\nEnsure that the team fully understands their role within the manufacturing process.\nCoach and mentor staff on capability.\nPromote and sponsor operational excellence and drive all actions aimed at continuous process improvement.\nWorks effectively with others and building required relationships and interfaces to support delivery of the Programme.\nProvide a diverse and inclusive working environment that allows individuals to flourish and realise their potential.\nWork with others to form high performing teams.\nAdopt a 'See It, Own It, Solve It' mind-set, by identifying obstacles to success and taking ownership to find solutions to those problems.\nResponsible for undertaking other duties as reasonably required from time to time by line and task management, including work at other places within the UK or overseas; this will be done in consultation with you, and in accordance with any requirements contained in your Contract of Employment.\nThe Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties as aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs; this may include additional roles as set out below (these are subject to your area of work, and where formally agreed by the individual) : e.g.

n\nImportant things you need to know : \n\nYou will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British who has been in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.

n\nDue to the classified nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home in this role. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working on site at AWE Aldermaston.\n\n#LI-DV
