Job description

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will be focused on supporting a project in the areas of project management, business operations, accounting, finance, regulatory compliance, and other related reporting functions. This person will be skilled in executing processes and utilizing reporting software to create visual presentations from various types of data for executive leaders, leveraging strong Excel skills to organize, dissect, and analyze raw datasets. This position will collaborate with project and district level management, providing trusted insight into the reporting and health of a project. The primary focuses of this position include evaluating construction job costs, data reporting/analysis, budgeting/forecasting, revenue recognition, and report generation for executive management leaders.

Additionally, proficiency with AI tools and functions is a plus. These tools can enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities, such as using predictive analytics for budgeting and revenue forecasting, machine learning algorithms to identify trends and anomalies in construction job costs, and natural language processing to automate the generation of insightful reports for executive management leaders.

District Overview

Kiewit's South-Central District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil and transportation markets. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry as opposed to engineering design.

This means your Kiewit adventure is custom-designed to meet our shared needs.

• Coordinate with project teams to assess reporting and identify risks to create accurate forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement for the project and be a proponent for positive change.
• Recognize the importance of being a team player by adapting to project needs and helping in other areas as needed.
