Lead Program Analyst/ Portfolio Analyst

Contract: 08 months

Location: Waltham MA 02451

Pay Rate on W2: $55/hr. - $60/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Summary

Seeking a Lead Program Analyst to support the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) portfolio. This role is responsible for portfolio reporting, performance tracking, value realization, and operational governance across a broad set of digital initiatives.

Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, and portfolio leadership to provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, business outcomes, and overall portfolio performance. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys turning complex information into clear, executive-ready insights.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Reporting & Governance

  • Consolidate status, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple digital initiatives.
  • Develop executive-ready reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and portfolio summaries.
  • Standardize reporting processes, templates, and governance practices across teams.
  • Facilitate status collection, reporting cycles, and leadership updates.
  • Provide visibility into portfolio health, delivery progress, and key decisions.

KPI & Value Realization Tracking

  • Track and report on KPIs, OKRs, and portfolio performance metrics.
  • Monitor actual results and value realization across CX Digital initiatives.
  • Analyze trends, identify performance gaps, and provide actionable insights.
  • Support leadership in measuring business outcomes and transformation impact.

Data Analysis & Dashboarding

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking tools.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Leverage advanced Excel capabilities, including formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and macros.
  • Utilize Power BI and SQL to support reporting, automation, and data analysis activities.

Stakeholder & Operational Support

  • Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to gather updates and align reporting.
  • Support Agile Product Increment (PI) planning and portfolio operating rhythms.
  • Coordinate meeting materials, action item tracking, and follow-up activities.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for portfolio reporting and operational execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program analysis, business operations, portfolio management, reporting, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including dashboards, pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, and related reporting/collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting digital, technology, product, or transformation portfolios.
  • Experience with Power BI dashboard development and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
  • Experience tracking value realization, benefits realization, or business outcomes.
  • Experience within Agile product organizations.
  • Agile, Scrum, or project management certification.
  • Experience in customer experience, digital products, utilities, or other large-scale transformation environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Operations, or a related discipline.
