You will manage the US scientific sales person, and continue to build the sales, marketing and technical support teams. You will contribute to strategic and sales planning. You will bring knowledge of the industrial laser market and applications. This role is positioned to become the North America General Manager, with opportunity as a shareholder/owner in the North America operations. You will report directly to the worldwide Chief Sales Officer. This position can be remote from your home office.


Job Description

Our client is an innovative manufacturer of pulsed solid-state and fiber lasers for scientific and industrial applications. Our R&D team brings 28 years of experience in design and manufacture of customized laser systems, providing reliable and state of the art products. 76 of the top 100 worldwide renowned universities are using our lasers. This includes several Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) projects developing and building the most powerful ultra-short pulse laser systems in the world for fundamental research. Our diode pumped tunable wavelength laser system is a Prism Award winner.

Our mission is to create and manufacture state of the art laser systems for customers, who are expanding frontiers of technological progress in industry and science.

SUMMARY

The scope of responsibility will be driving growth and development in the industrial and OEM North America market for our innovative industrial laser product line. You will manage the US scientific sales person, and continue to build the sales, marketing and technical support teams. You will contribute to strategic and sales planning. You will bring knowledge of the industrial laser market and applications.

This role is positioned to become the North America General Manager, with opportunity as a shareholder/owner in the North America operations. You will report directly to the worldwide Chief Sales Officer.

This position can be remote.


Qualifications

Requirements include:

5+ years’ experience in the industrial laser and photonics industry

Knowledge of industrial market and applications

Business development skills

Customer relationship development skills

Management skills ideal (but not a necessary requirement)

Ability to build, develop and motivate teams

Initiative, passion and drive for achievement

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independent and remote
