At Iron Mountain we know that work, when done well, makes a positive impact for our customers, our employees, and our planet. That’s why we need smart, committed people to join us. Whether you’re looking to start your career or make a change, talk to us and see how you can elevate the power of your work at Iron Mountain.

Are you curious about being part of our growth story while evolving your skills in a culture that will welcome your unique contributions? If so, let's start the conversation.

Iron Mountain’s Government Solutions (IMGS) group is hiring an experienced Senior Program Manager (SPM). The PM is the Iron Mountain point of contact for a program or set of projects for our Federal/State and Local Government clients. Capture and proposal engagement and experience is important as the program manager will have the chance to lead and participate in opportunity activities and help win new business. The Program Manager understands our business and its objectives, and then brings solutions to market to solve the business problems in a very ambiguous, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. It relies on influence, adaptability and ingenuity over authority to drive project delivery.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to improve product delivery capabilities within an agile development environment.

  • Contribute to monthly forecasts and yearly investment plans & budgets for the program management/account team

  • Create financial business cases in partnership with Product Management to justify new strategic initiatives

  • Manage the financial performance for the year including actuals vs. budget and monthly forecasts

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with 5+ years in Program Management

  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred, but not required

  • Large IT Program Management experience is desired.

  • Proven program leader experienced in managing a geographically dispersed team of indirect employees and external contractors. This position interlocks with many organizations including Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Legal and IT.

  • Program Management experience in implementing customer aligned business solutions to include reporting, deliverable coordination, risk/opportunity management, financial planning, scheduling, and customer engagement. Examples include implementing digitization solutions on-site at customer location and then managing on-going deliverables with increased efficiency.

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills; clear & concise communications at multiple levels is key

  • Solid process improvement background with hands on experience in agile development practices

  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Role is hybrid
