The Division of Adult Institution is recruiting to fill a Financial Program Supervisor position. This position is based out of Prairie du Chien Correctional Institution (Prairie du Chien, WI)
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the supervision, planning, coordinating and evaluation of the Business Office and Stores staff as well as supervision and accounting of multiple financial programs, funding sources, and cost allocation patterns for an institution with an operating budget.Responsibilities and activities include budget development and implementation, maintenance of the Institution’s accounting system, purchasing functions, Person In Our Care accounts, Institution’s capital and store’s inventories, and oversight of the contracted canteen operations.This position is also responsible for adherence to all Wisconsin Statutes dealing with the fiscal operations of the Institution.
Salary Information
This position is in pay schedule / range 81-03 with an annual salary of $55889 - $92206, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire.A 12 month probationary period is required.
