Technical Writer / Communications Specialist
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.

We are currently seeking a Technical Writer / Communications Specialist to join a client team.
Responsibilities

• 
  Develop clear, concise self help and digital adoption content including job aids, end user guides, knowledge base articles, and system documentation.
  
• 
  Create and maintain in system guidance content and performance support materials.
  
• 
  Build, configure, and update digital adoption assets such as web based documentation and guidance tools.
  
• 
  Partner with training leads and instructional designers to support learning asset maintenance and updates.
  
• 
  Ensure content follows established business writing standards and is accurate, consistent, and user focused.
  
• 
  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate content accuracy.
  
• 
  Maintain organized documentation repositories and version control.
  
• 
  Support continuous improvement of documentation and communication practices.
  
• 
  Perform additional duties as assigned.
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  Experience developing technical documentation, job aids, or end user support materials.
  
• 
  Strong business writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  
• 
  Experience working with enterprise systems related to human resources, finance, or business operations.
  
• 
  Proficiency with content creation and documentation tools.
  
• 
  Experience working with content management systems.
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and manage fluctuating workloads.
  
• 
  Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  
• 
  Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  Experience supporting enterprise HR or financial platforms.
  
• 
  Familiarity with digital adoption or in application guidance tools.
  
• 
  Exposure to instructional design or training development practices.
  
• 
  Experience working in remote or distributed team environments.
  
• 
  Familiarity with common collaboration and productivity tools.
