Those in managed service management and strategy at PwC will focus on transitioning and running services, along with managing delivery teams, programmes, commercials, performance and delivery risk. Your work will involve the process of continuous improvement and optimising of the managed services process, tools and services.

Demonstrates in-depth level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Possess in-depth level technical expertise in a multitude of platforms and software applications;
  • Developing & architecting winnable and profitable complex cross-domain solutions encompassing a rich variety of technologies and using a mixture of agile and planned methods to provide innovative solutions to address clients’ needs;
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored solutions;
  • Supporting the offering team developing customized proposals, solutions and during client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations;
  • Serves as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment between the client's business goals and our offerings;
  • Understanding of estimation methodology and cost levers involved in Infra managed services solutioning across different technical domains such as Server, Storage, Network, End user support, service desk, public cloud, others;
  • Demonstrating proven knowledge of latest managed services trends & ability to create/update differentiated offerings;
  • Architecting and/or transitioning significant managed services solutions;
  • Familiarity with industry benchmarks and navigating third-party benchmarking sources;
  • Managing client relationships at the executive level;
  • Managing client service and people management skills;
  • Adapting to new technologies and learning quickly;
  • Demonstrating stakeholder management skills with the ability to work well with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team and customer base;
  • Understanding of monitoring tools & KPIs and SLAs;

  • Understanding of infra managed services activities across different technical domains such as IaaS, PaaS, Servers, Storage, Network, End user support, Service Desk, Security, others;
  • Demonstrating experience in/with broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration, Systems design, with the ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions;
  • Writing software in one or more technologies, such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Microservices, Event Driven Architecture, or other Cloud Native experience;
  • Understanding of various database technologies (e.g. SQL database(s), NoSQL such as MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis, etc.);
  • Understanding of enterprise Architecture methodology such as “The Open Group Architecture framework” TOGAF is a plus;
  • Understanding of container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker), services, and cloud PAAS components, contemporary paradigms, such as Cloud, DevOps and Agile, Hyperscale's based cloud native solutions, Scalable enterprise solutions.
