Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Python Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Python Developer, you will be part of the Enterprise Capital Management technology team supporting critical regulatory compliance and data processing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Plano TX, Charlotte NC

What's the Job?

• Develop and support scalable applications for regulatory capital reporting under Basel rules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data sourcing and business logic for risk-weighted assets calculations.
• Partner with technology teams to migrate and enhance existing platforms to strategic architectures.
• Perform hands-on application development and performance tuning for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through robust testing and validation processes.

What's Needed?

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Python development.
• 2+ years of Java development experience is advantageous.
• Extensive SQL programming experience, preferably with Oracle Exadata.
• UNIX scripting experience and familiarity with unit testing frameworks.
