Billing experience Must possess a valid CA drivers license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24 / 7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hours Rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention All age groups children adolescents adults and older adults who need immediate access to crisis mental health services. The center provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization Individuals admitted into the crisis stabilization unit will be provided with support and services to ensure their safe transition to the next level of care or back to the community.

How you will make a difference :
The Unit and Quality Assurance Clerk performs a wide variety of business and operations tasks including gathering processing and tracking new client information for intake treatment and discharge. This position will facilitate the verification of Medi-Cal eligibility as required and open new client records in EMR and IBHIS as assigned. Regular interaction with all staff members physicians and outside agencies is expected. Manages / oversees facility billing aspects as needed including but not limited to vendor billing and facility petty cash. Responsibility for gathering and analyzing agency data and assisting in the agencys quality control quality assurance and quality improvement efforts.
