JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Python Developer to support the development of backend services and APIs within a cloud-native AWS environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable integration solutions, working across distributed systems, and collaborating within agile engineering teams.
You will play a key role in developing APIs for data marshalling and backend processing, helping deliver efficient and reliable solutions that support enterprise-scale platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain backend services using Python within AWS environments
Build APIs to support data marshalling and integration workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable cloud-native solutions
Support API integrations leveraging MuleSoft as the API management layer
Contribute to code quality, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong Python backend development experience
Hands-on experience working within AWS cloud environments
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Understanding of scalable backend architecture and data integration concepts
Strong collaboration and communication skills within agile delivery teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
Familiarity with MuleSoft or other API gateway/integration platforms
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
