The Operations Specialist is responsible for managing daily electronic transaction processing, including EIM entries, chargebacks, and wire transfers, while ensuring accuracy, and operational efficiency. This position provides support across key functions, contributes to process improvements and upholds confidentiality standards. In addition, this position collaborates on special projects and ensures timely, compliant customer communications.
The qualified candidate will have over two years experience in banking operations, with a focus on transaction processing and regulatory compliance, demonstrated success in problem solving and a strong knowledge of retail products and services. Position Title: Operations Specialist
Reports To: Deposit Operations Supervisor
Position summary: Responsible for managing daily electronic transaction processing, including EIM entries, chargebacks, and wire transfers, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Provides support across key functions, contributes to process improvements, and upholds confidentiality standards. Collaborates on special projects and ensures timely, compliant customer communications.
Tasks:
- Manage the daily processing of Electronic Item Management (EIM) entries, chargebacks, and non-post transactions with precision and attention to detail.
- Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely execution in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing Bounce Protection account disclosures and customer communications, ensuring all follow-up actions are timely and compliant.
- Provide dependable backup support across key operational functions to help maintain seamless daily workflows.
- Contribute ideas and recommend process improvements to enhance team efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
- Collaborate on special projects and time-sensitive initiatives that drive continuous improvement within the department.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive customer information.
Skills and Attributes:
