The Senior Lead Engineer, Software will support in managing and administering the lab environments on the Richardson site. The engineer will also support in managing the VMs as well as resolving VM issues in a timely manner. They will leverage their proficiency in administering network devices, automating infrastructure provisioning, and developing scripts for system administration and automated builds to ensure efficient and reliable lab operations.
Detailed Description
Perform tasks such as, but not limited to, the following :
- Managing and administering lab environments in Richardson site and actively participating in lab-related activities, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in being able to handle configurations of routers and switches, console switches etc.
- Creating, managing and administering Virtual Machines (VMs). Troubleshooting and resolving VM issues in a time-sensitive manner.
- Automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Developing and maintaining scripts for system administration as well as various VM related tasks.
- Scripting for automated builds of Server, Virtual Desktop and workstation Images / environments.
