Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have a keen eye for detail and organization.
- Contributes to daily, holiday, and themed drink menus in collaboration with the supervisor.
- Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
- Must have a general understanding of professional kitchen sanitation protocol.
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to situations and procedural changes as decided by the management
- Greeting and seating guests
- Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the POS system
- Making menu item recommendations
- Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
- Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately
- Guarantee patrons an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service.
- Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessary
- Performing cleaning duties; keeping a clean service station and polished dining area
- Employment requires at least 2 years of fine dining experience and minimum of 3 professional references
- Excellent customer service and a friendly demeanor
- Exceptional organization and time management
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Wine Knowledge a must (wine certification preferred)
- Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work full-time with day, night, and weekend availability.
- Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
