Job Description
Job Title : Associate Broker (Full Time / Non-Exempt)
Pay : $25.00 to $27.00 Hourly
Location : Stockton, CA
Immediate Supervisor : Broker Assistant Supervisor
This role is responsible to the Broker Assistant Supervisor, Manager, Broker's Assistants and Lead Broker(s)
THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IS COMPREHENSIVE. HOWEVER, THERE MAY BE ADDITIONAL DUTIES WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED FROM TIME TO TIME.
Under the direction of the Broker Assistant Supervisor and Brokers Assistant(s) and other assigned supervisors perform a variety of duties related to the solicitation and placement of insurance policies for Wholesure sub-producers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Take direction from and assist designated Brokers Assistant and Lead Broker(s) in all aspects.
- Study and learn about the commercial lines insurance industry with emphasis on Excess & Surplus Lines sector.
- Complete formal industry courses for technical knowledge
- Gain further knowledge and networking by attending industry professional training schools
- Work as a full time Clerical Assistant to gain knowledge of carrier operations.
- As an option for greater professional development and credibility, obtain certain professional designations.
