Job descriptionMaintains the knowledge base Writes and updates SOP's Updates process documentation Ensures agents have current guidelines and that new policies are updated in workflows Reviews and receives update / change requests from agents or management Works closely with Training and Quality to ensure policies are aligned Other duties as assigned Due to contract requirements candidates must be U.S. citizens without dual citizenship with another country. Additionally, candidates must have an active Public Trust clearance or be able to successfully pass a government-sponsored Public Trust clearance process. High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience in knowledge management and / or technical writing Proven ability to create knowledge articles to assist analysts and specialists. Must be able to travel as needed to work site in Alexandria, VA High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience. May have additional training or education in area of specialization. 2 years experience with DTMO TAC related policies, procedures, nomenclature, and guidelines Experience with DTMO TAC processes, policies and systems Experience writing knowledge articles for DTMO TAC Excellent written and oral communications and presentation skills. Ability to work independently Ability to work in a high paced work environment Ability to hit goals and deadlines

Maximus is looking to hire a Knowledge Manager / Technical Writer.
This position is remote with occasional travel to the work site in Alexandria, Virginia required. The selected candidate must have a Public Trust clearance or be able to successfully pass a government-sponsored Public Trust clearance process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate technical research and fix technical issues in computer / operational systems, network, applications, etc.
- Apply acquired technical skills and knowledge of applicable policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Escalate more complex technical issues to more experienced technicians.
- Participate in special projects as required.
