About the Position

Have a way with words? We’re looking for a seasoned communications pro to help our team create captivating content for our #PDIFamily.

We’ve always got exciting updates to share with our teams, so we need someone who knows how to get the word out effectively, grabbing the attention of busy employees and motivating them to take action.

The Lead Communications Partner will work within the SOURCE (previously known as HR), reporting to the Communications Manager, to support the internal communications function as they develop and distribute timely, engaging, and relevant messaging for our entire company.

This role will serve as the most senior individual contributor of the team, guiding team members through campaign planning, content development, and deliverable reviews prior to distribution.

Position Details

  • Develop and execute strategic communications plans for high-visibility internal departments.
  • Write, edit, and develop a variety of electronic and print communications (such as emails, videos, articles, presentations, brochures, digital displays, and app notifications) to create awareness of internal company messages and drive employee engagement.
  • Support the Communications Manager in the creation of leadership-specific content to empower effective Executive and Manager communication cascades.
  • Guide Communications team members in campaign execution, including proofing and editing communications deliverables.
  • Support the Communications Team as they partner with assigned business functions to develop communications campaigns and coordinate internal messaging.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • A senior team member with 5-6 years of communications and / or marketing experience who is interested in the potential to grow into a leadership position.
  • A copywriting aficionado with a passion for storytelling, who takes grammar and punctuation as seriously as a semi-colon.
  • A campaign maven who thinks big picture and out-of-the-box, to support the team with killer comms deliverables.
  • An agile mentor who can help the team work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects with changing priorities.
  • Clear demonstration of experience in creating high-visibility, quality communications with a strong writing portfolio.
  • A creative eye with the foundational knowledge of design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, writing, or another related field is required.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, are required.
  • Experience with email platforms (e.g. Mailchimp) and content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
  • An individual who demonstrates and upholds all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
