Job Overview

The tutor works with students in grades K-8 in small groups of students of five or less, who need additional academic support.

The tutor works side by side with the classroom teachers and administrators to help students improve academic skills.

Licenses and Certifications

Teacher licensure in grades K-8

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to relate to children, teacher, and other school staff
• Knowledge of educational evidence-based best practices in education
• Ability to keep and maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
