In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.

Evening Kitchen Manager - Back of House

Church Street Location, Downtown Nashville – 1622 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37203

EXCELLENT HOURS: Our Church St. location closes at 8:00 pm. Cleaning usually ends by 9:30 pm or earlier. Closed on Sundays.

Pay: $18- $22/hour

This role is for a new Chick-fil-A concept restaurant focused on Catering, 3rd Party Deliveries, Mobile Ordering, and Innovative Delivery Methods!

At Chick-fil-A we are looking for leaders who expertly lead our team in serving our guests well and who have a passion for developing other Team Members. Our Evening Kitchen Manager oversees Back of House operations, including closing the store followed by clean-up. Our ideal candidate would possess strong leadership qualities with a passion for instilling our culture of care, consistency, and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Motivates the team with daily briefings on shift expectations, celebrating team successes, and debriefing at the end of shifts
• Knows the strengths and weaknesses of each Team Member to appropriately place them in the roles most suited to their skills
• Complete understanding and ability to delegate the responsibilities required to close the restaurant
• Reassesses performance and makes changes as needed to ensure the shift is running smoothly
• Maintains positive working relationships and treats all employees with honor, dignity, and respect while providing them with encouragement, direction, and feedback
• Collaborates with the leadership team to train Team Members, and tracks their performance to ensure they’re equipped for success
• Holds Team Members accountable to upholding our standards and policies and reports severe policy violations to the senior leadership team
• Ensures that all equipment is being cleaned & maintained appropriately, and that safety & security procedures are being followed
• Follows sanitation and food safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager preferred
• Basic computer competency
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 12 hours and lifting up to 40 pounds
