dōma is hiring an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join the culinary leadership team of our high-end Italian restaurant located in the Wynwood.
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence across all aspects of food preparation and presentation. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who values craftsmanship, teamwork, and the art of modern Italian cuisine.
Responsibilities
Support the Executive Chef in leading and inspiring the kitchen team.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Supervise daily mise en place, service flow, and station organization.
Participate in menu development, specials, and seasonal creations.
Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and cost control procedures.
Assist with ordering, and vendor relations.
Requirements
Minimum 2 –4 years of experience in upscale or fine dining restaurants.
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine , ingredients, and techniques.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Passion for innovation while respecting traditional flavors and craftsmanship.
