Job Description :
Monitor and advise on informationsecurity issues related to the systems and workflow at an agency toensure the internal IT security controls for an agency areappropriate and operating as intended.
Coordinate and execute IT security relatedprojects for the agency.
Coordinate response to information security incidents.
Develop and publishInformation Security policies procedures standards and guidelinesbased on knowledge of best practices and compliance with State ITSecurity policies standards and guidelines.
Conduct statewide dataclassification assessment and security audits and manageremediation plans.
Collaborate with IT management Internal Audit and clientto manage security vulnerabilities.
Create manage and maintain user securityawareness.
Conductsecurity research and keep abreast of latest security issues.
Prepares IT securitydocumentation including department policies and procedures agencynotifications Web content and alerts.
IT Security Analyst 3 Years of Experience 4to 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Job Description Hasknowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures withina particular field.
Relies on instructions and preestablished guidelines toperform the functions of the job.
