Job Title : Research Interviewer - CHRR

Department : Arts and Sciences Center for Human Resource Research-JM

Job Description

  • Supports a variety of calling and recruiting campaigns as well as administrative tasks necessary to fulfill research survey obligations;
  • recruits members for the American Population Panel and administers phone surveys with panel members that requested survey participation by phone;

supports new research surveys and previous surveys returning with new requirements (i.e. Ohio Study).

Required Qualifications :

A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience and / or special training in interviewing techniques is required.

Desired Qualifications :

Considerable experience recruiting potential survey respondents via telephone cold calls.

Additional Information :

The target salary for this position is $18.00, hourly.

This position will require reliable transportation to make home visits to conduct research interviews.

By the start of employment, all newly hired employees must receive at least the first dose of a two-dose series or a single dose of a one-dose series COVID-19 vaccination.

Individuals who choose a two-dose series vaccination must receive the second dose within 45 days of their start date. Proof of vaccination will be required at time of hire.

Candidates may request a medical or religious exemption from the vaccination requirement. Campus employees may also request an exemption for personal reasons.

Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, College of Medicine or OSUP Employees are not eligible for personal exemptions. All exemptions are subject to Ohio State’s approval and subject to change, including revocation, due to legal and regulatory requirements.
