Quality Assurance Specialist

Location : Coon Rapids, MN
Wage : $24 - $26 / hr.
Hours : 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the quality assurance specialist :
- Apply in-depth knowledge of quality assurance practices for system process enhancement.
- Conduct inspections at different manufacturing stages to meet customer specifications.
- Perform visual and dimensional measurements using inspection equipment.
- Record inspection results accurately and complete necessary documentation.
- Review results for compliance, addressing discrepancies appropriately.
- Ensure integrity of measurement equipment through proper usage and reporting.
- Interface directly with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet requirements.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager or Director of Quality.
Requirements of the quality assurance specialist :
- Authorized to work in the United States permanently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Working knowledge and experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles, inspection methodologies, and inspection measurement equipment.
Coordinate measuring machine inspection and programming preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook. JobBoss experience preferred.
