Job Description :

Define and deploy best in class email & SMS engagement strategy for H&R Block products and brands. Deliver on business goals through the right contact plan, segmentation, creative and journey design drive retention, upsell, cross sell with existing and lapsed customers.

A people leader who will cultivate a high performing team of email & SMS experts focused on driving growth and continuous improvement.

Lead, develop, recommend and implement customer marketing plans and programs for key H&R Block brands and products designed to increase revenues, client base, and profitability.

Works on programs that have high visibility and multi department, complex design. Ensure adherence of marketing plans and programs with overall corporate strategy and objectives.

Analyze each program to identify key success indicators. Prioritize projects based on evaluation of short and long-term benefit to the company.

Create a performance marketing rigor with a data driven approach to identify wins and opportunities. Build forecasts of impressions, unique reach, open rate, click through rate to conversions.

Monitor and manage performance pace to forecast, driving persistent year over year improvements.

Set the annual email / SMS strategy, collaborating with channel, go to market and product leaders to deliver an integrated plan.

Communicate the status of key projects to ensure program integration and delivery with other initiatives.

  • Present email / SMS strategy, plans and performance to marketing and business unit leadership.
  • Direct and monitor outside advertising agencies to ensure the companys customer marketing goals are achieved in the most efficient and effective manner.

Hire, train, supervise, develop and evaluate direct reports and others in marketing. Serve as a mentor and model Company values daily.

Actively manage the team, the work and the flow of communication(s) to and from the team and leadership.

Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of marketing associates. Determine work procedures and expedites workflow. Study and standardize procedures to improve the efficiency of team.

Ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects.

Qualifications :

  • Broad-based consumer marketing experience, including specific knowledge of advertising, media, CRM, database, direct response, promotion, merchandising and research.
  • Proven experience in Email and SMS.
  • Proven experience in developing and presenting customer relationship marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles, practices and techniques.
  • Strategic planning, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established timeframes.
  • Ability to balance short and long-term priorities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively monitor tasks delegated to subordinates.
