Hospital Claims Specialist

A company is looking for a Hospital Claims Specialist responsible for resolving unpaid or denied hospital claims.

Key Responsibilities

Resolve unpaid / denied claims using proprietary software, phone calls, and client systems

Review medical documentation to determine the appropriate course of action for claim resolution

Maintain familiarity with client preferences and known issues

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

At least one year of hospital accounts receivable experience preferred

Knowledge of UB04 claim forms, EOBs, and medical records preferred

At least one year of experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other EMR preferred

Basic knowledge of computer functions and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
