All In Virginia Tutor (Part-time)

Job Overview

The tutor works with students in grades K-8 in small groups of students who need additional academic support.

The tutor works side by side with the classroom teachers and administrators to help students improve academic skills in math and / or reading.

Qualifications

Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

Education High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

Teaching experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to relate to children, teacher, and other school staff
• Knowledge of educational evidence-based best practices in education
• Ability to keep and maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
