Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Senior HR generalist to support our HR Manager and Personnel Manager in all of the Human Resources functions of the company.

Job Summary :

As a Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department, including handling of employee life cycle activities, employee relations, performance management and compliance.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of HR Generalist responsibilities and a passion for recruiting.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide support to employees in various HR related topics and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying tools, policies and procedures in order to maximize employee performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve employee engagement and ensure legal compliance.
  • Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records
  • Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances
  • Processing important documents, including benefits and tax information
  • Involvement in the payroll process
  • Planning / leading training related to professional and personal employee development
  • Approving time off requests and creating employee work schedules
  • Assisting in employee departures and exit interviews
  • Ability to research for new and maintain current employment laws in all states
  • Help manage an efficient and effective full-cycle recruitment and selection process to ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruiting and hiring needs, including posting and marketing of open jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, assisting in hiring decisions and extending job offers.
  • Conduct onboarding activities, including new employee orientation and training

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, HR Management, Business or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Previous experience recruiting, bonus if in an industrial sales capacity
  • Solid organization skills, task and detail oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable with a demonstrated ability to maintain the highly confidential and sensitive nature of human resources information.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced HR environment.
  • Experience with Paylocity a plus
