Human Resources Generalist
This person will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and selection process to ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
This individual will have exposure to a variety of human resources functions including handling of employee life cycle activities, employee relations, performance management and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for recruiting.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage an efficient and effective full-cycle recruitment and selection process to ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Partner with hiring managers on recruiting and hiring needs, including posting and marketing of open jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, assisting in hiring decisions and extending job offers.
- Builds an effective sourcing network to fill requisitions in a timely manner.
- Lead, coordinate and participate in hosting onsite and offsite job fairs.
- Develop working partnerships with local high schools, tech schools and colleges to aid in recruiting.
- Drives a strong social networking recruiting strategy.
- Conduct onboarding activities including new employee orientations.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Human Resources
- 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience recruiting
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking systems.
- Solid organization skills, task and detail oriented.
- Good interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the organization.
