Are you interested in joining a fun-loving, hardworking community of food and beverage enthusiasts? An up-and-coming European-style bakery café in the heart of Falls Church City is seeking Production Bakers.

These members of our operations team must be energetic and creative individuals who are passionate about artisan baking and willing to learn.

We feature a menu of hand-crafted breads, pastries, a variety of croissants, scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bear claws, cookies, European-style desserts and cakes.

All of our bakery products are made in-house from scratch daily using the finest ingredients available.

Duties will include :

• Production of high-quality pastries and breads by accurately following company s formulas, processes, and procedures.
• Efficiently maintaining consistent quality in all baked items per company s standard.
• Carefully and accurately scaling ingredients.
• Mixing a variety of different doughs.
• Croissant dough lamination.
• Shaping pastries.
• Operating baking tools and equipment.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the bakery and compliance with all health department regulations.
• Managing time effectively.
• Tracking inventory and reporting supply needs to manager in a timely fashion.
• Performing all other job-related duties as required.

Requirements :

• Impeccably punctual and consistently reliable.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Available to work early morning shifts, and occasional overnight, weekends and holidays.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Quick learner with ability to follow directions and take feedback well.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand and move for the duration of shift.
