SUMMARY

The Human ResourcesAssistants partners with HR Managers and management team inadministrating and tracking the attendance and cash handlingpolicies for all our Team Members in the Theme Park.

This positionwould also be responsible for processing leave of absence employeeslifecycle transactions and various other HR administrativefunctions.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • HighSchool diploma
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office(Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word)
  • Flexibility with their schedule withavailability to work on weekends holidays and nights as required
  • Familiar with theTimekeeper system

DESIREDCHARACTERISTICS

  • Bachelors degree from a fouryear college oruniversity in Human Resources Business Communication or relatedfield is highly preferred
  • Professional and personable with the abilityto exercise sound judgment when dealing with sensitive andconfidential matters
  • Demonstrated ability to drive processes andto deliver high quality HR services
  • Experience in both nonunion andunion / represented environments in retail or hospitality industrypreferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fastpacedconstantly changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize effectively thinkindependently and problem solve to ensure all projects arecompleted in an effective and timely manner
  • Ability to work withothers and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals
  • Selfstartermotivated and proactive
  • Strong organization skills detail orientedand ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication

ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process track and manage attendance and cashhandling (variance) discipline by drafting employee disciplineletters and incident reports for managers to administer.
  • Attend weeklycommunication meetings with HR Manager and respective managementteam to review Team Members attendance / variance record to verify ifdiscipline is warranted.
  • Working alongside HR Manager to ensure allattendance issues are resolved and escalated if / when necessary withinterpreting union contract language for consistency.
  • Provide entry gateswiping activity information as needed.
  • Responsible for uploading / filing Team Memberdocuments.
  • Providesgeneral HR information to employee questions.
  • Perform other dutiesas assigned Intermediate knowledge of Excel isrequired
