Now Hiring : Cook
5am-1pm Including every other weekend
Responsibilities :
- Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the staff and residents.
- Cooking meals that follows specific dietary guidelines.
- Work with health care staff to ensure appropriate nutrition for each resident.
- Practice safe food handling, keeping a clean kitchen and dining room, and working with the head chef to plan meals.
- May also assist with purchasing food, recommending proper quantities and items based on resident demand and dietary needs.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Previous experience in a LTC or nursing facility kitchen.
- Experience with food preparation and nutrition
- Must be available to work on weekends if required
