Vendor Management Analyst - Onsite

Primary Function
The Vendor Management Office (VMO) assists Newrez business units with onboarding new vendors, vendor oversight, contract management, and monitoring vendor performance.
The Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for assigning vendor risk tiers, collecting due diligence materials, and maintaining vendor company and contract details.
The Vendor Management Analyst is vital to the vendor contract management process coordinated by the VMO team.
Principal Duties :
- Receives vendor contract requests from the lines of business and organizes the data in department’s cloud-based contract management system.
- Assigns contract responsibilities and sets up workflows.
- Collects, reviews, and approves initial due diligence documents from new vendors.
- Requests updated vendor documents before expiration dates.
- Processes Non-Disclosure Agreements including Legal review and execution.
- Researches vendor acquisitions and mergers and is accountable for proper documentation and making appropriate updates.
- Explains and guides Lines of Business’ on VMO requirements.
- Tracks requests for proposals / requests for quotes performed by business units. Investigates legacy agreements and bringing into VMO processes.
- Prepares reports for internal customers and management.
- Manages vendors against regulatory exclusionary list.
- Assists VP Vendor Management as needed.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years in Vendor Management / Oversight, Contract review and development, Mortgage Banking (originations / servicing), Financial services, and Operational or Vendor Risk.
- Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DocuSign, Visio, Adobe PRO and contract management applications.

- Proven track record of achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and meeting SLA’s.

- Strong analytical skills : effective decision-making skills with the ability to appropriately exercise independent judgment.
- Strong quality orientation with an attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, as well as effectively function as a member of the Vendor Management Team.
